I had been hoping for a lot when I was recommended this book by a friend and it was even better than promised. When looking at it online to check it out the first thing that attracted me to this book was the cover. What a beautiful picture of the horse. When I read "Frequent Flyer" I really felt like I could see the story unfold in front of me as it was so descriptive and brought me right into the story. The author used descriptions that made me feel like I truly understood the characters and made this mystery a bit comical at the same time. This was an excellent book that read easy from the start and kept me coming back for more. It was a very interesting twist on the Curse of the Bambino and a must read for anyone who loves horses and mysteries. I would definitely recommend this book without hesitation.Product details

super book…a little mystical and magic with the humor of the real world with horses and horse shows. You won't be able to put the book down once you start.
A couple days ago I finished Hal Wentworth's "Frequent Flyer" and loved it (I got it and my for Christmas this year). I'm not sure what category this book is placed in. To me it was unique in almost every way.
I guess the only thing that bothered me about the writing was that some of the descriptions had me jumping off the couch to find my wife so I could share them with someone. Worse problems could be had.

It was quite a surprise when I realized I was reading about the main horse character being immortalized, among other human immortality characters, which I loved. I would recommend this book to all horse lovers both young and old. There was nothing less than five stars from me in rating this story. I hung on every word and breath that immortalized itself from among these pages. And I'm always a sucker for a happy ending.
